Complimentary Admission

The Asian Amateur Championship is a partnership between the Asia Pacific Golf Confederation, the Masters Tournament and The R&A committed to promoting golf in the Asia Pacific region.

As such, the tournament offers complimentary admission and is open to everyone who is interested in watching Asia’s best amateur golfers.

 

Transportation

The Kasumigaseki Country Club is located Kawagoe City in Saitama Prefecture, approximately 60 minutes northwest of Tokyo.

Spectators can travel to the event on the Seibu-Shinjuku Line, alighting at either Hon Kawagoe Station and taking a 20-minute taxi ride to the course or at Sayama Station, which is 15 minutes from the club (approximately, ¥2,000 cab fare).

Alternatively, spectators can travel on the JR Kawagoe Line to Kasahata Station, which is approximately one kilometre from Kasumigaseki Country Club.

Spectators driving to the championship should take the Ken-o Tsurugashima IC and exit at Highway 15.

 

Schedule of Play

7 Oct. 2010 (Thursday):        First Round, Nos. 1 and 10 Tees

8 Oct. 2010 (Friday):            Second Round, Nos. 1 and 10 Tees

  The field will be cut to the low 60 players and ties following the completion of 36 holes

9 Oct. 2010 (Saturday):        Third Round, No. 1 Tee

10 Oct. 2010 (Sunday):         Fourth Round, No. 1 Tee

 

Course Access

Spectators can move freely around the golf course, but please stay outside the ropes.
