Live third-round coverage of the 2010 Asian Amateur Championship from the West Course at Kasumigaseki Country Club began yesterday at 2.30pm (Japanese time) this afternoon on AsianAmateurChampionship.com. Bill Macatee, who is part of the Masters Tournament commentary team, and former European Tour professional Jay Townsend are acting as the English-speaking announcers for the event, the final day of which will also be streamed live on this website.

The broadcast commenced little over one hour after the overnight leader, Lam Zhiqun of Singapore, started his third round with home hope Yosuke Asaji. Lam led by one stroke on a score of seven under par, after returning a five-under-par 66 on Friday.

The fourth round will be aired live by most of the event’s broadcasters from 2:30 – 4:30 pm (UTC/GMT +9 hours) on Sunday 10 October. Click here for local listings.
