The Asian Amateur Championship 2011 Premium Ticket Package includes a Limited Edition Asian Amateur Championship Gift (limited to the first 500 spectators per day), a Season Pass and Souvenir Lanyard, Premium Parking (limited to the first 50 cars per day) and a complimentary beverage. Holders of the pass also have the chance to have their photo taken with the Claret Jug and Masters Tournament Trophy.

Speaking from the Singapore Island Country Club, Tournament Director Andrew Hickey, said,

“Singapore and The Singapore Island Country Club is an ideal location to continue the Asian Amateur Championship’s pivotal role in growing golf in the region. Visitors to the event will witness an array of talent from across the Asia-Pacific region, players who may someday challenge the established golfing powers for positions as the world’s best. The inclusion of the Premium Ticket Package is a fantastic addition for fans and I look forward to seeing the spectators enjoy the benefits during the four days of competition.”

The Asian Amateur Championship has grown impressively since its foundation in 2009. The third edition of the championship will see the top amateurs in the game vying for a place in next year’s Masters Tournament and, along with the runner(s)-up, a berth in International Final Qualifying for the Open Championship for 2012.

The 2010 Asian Amateur Championship winner, Hideki Matsuyama of Japan, took full advantage of the opportunities provided by his victory, receiving the Silver Cup as leading amateur at the 2011 Masters Tournament. The 19-year-old finished tied for 27th, alongside defending champion Phil Mickelson.
